The Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program was initiated in 1978 to honor the late senator and vice president and his life-long commitment to international cooperation and public service. The program brings accomplished mid-career professionals from developing nations and emerging democracies to the United States for an academic year to study, gain related professional experience and foster cultural exchange.

Welcome to the Humphrey-Vanderbilt Blog!
This is a site for initiating and continuing dialogue on educational issues explored through the Humphrey Fellowship Program at Vanderbilt University's Peabody College. At Vanderbilt, the Humphrey Fellowship Program focuses on education, particularly in K-12, so much of our discussion will focus on K-12 education, but will also include discussions about Higher Education, Non-Profit Management, Organizational Leadership, Cross-Cultural Understanding, and International Issues.
